Stopped in for a late breakfast with my husband, they weren’t busy at all so we sat ourselves at a booth. A few tables still had dirty dishes on them we noticed as we sat no big deal. We sat for a few minutes waiting until eventually someone came over to take our drink order. We looked at the menu for a bit but it seemed to take a while to just get our drinks but we heard 2&3 waitresses carrying on and cussing and laughing behind the scenes. Finally got our order taken, I ordered a breakfast plate with eggs meat and hashbrowns. I could immediately tell the hashbrowns were not made fresh to order, they tasted old and greasy and stale, the eggs were greasy as well. My husband ordered country fried steak that had been cooked too long and was a bit hard. At one point someone in the kitchen got upset and was yelling at one of the waitresses over something. We finished up and paid our bill and left. Not sure if we will give this place a second chance. Food was okay.

Amazing restaurant would recommend the brunch was amazing my favorite pie is sugar cream wormed up.
Not impressed with this restaurant. Every time I go here with my grandpa I have keep on the waiters on ensure we get a refill on our drinks. Been here several times where I didn't get a single refill and at one point our waitress had left due to the end of her shift and nobody came to check on us or even ask if we wanted to go boxes or anything. Plus the food is very bland, you have to add a bunch of salt and pepper to most of the food here to have any good amount of flavoring.

Been here a good few times, food has either been awful, or I get the skillets. The skillets are what’s making it a 3. Might be biased lol.
My most recent experience today the waitress didn’t even come to greet us/give us the menus, let alone take our order for 15-20 minutes. She never checked in on us and we had to ask to leave essentially.

Fried chicken is the best of course. I ate lunch here and the menu is small but has all the di er favorites. My grandpa and me always came here to the Portland Richard’s. It’s an old diner like family restaurant. The food is good ole down home cooking. Go with your grandpa!!
