I could eat here everyday. The rice is amazing. I always get the Salmon Hibachi and Lobster Rangoon. 10/10. Never had a bad experience.
Very good place and friendly staff. The sweet potato fries are crisp and delicious and the Hibachi Chicken with rice was perfect.

Edited 1/13; down to one star; we were both sick by the time we got home. If it happens that quickly, it’s usually due to mishandled food.
First, I'm not a fan of being scolded because I had the audacity to ask for Equal or Splenda sweetener for my tea vs saccharine (who still uses that?!) Lady behind counter shouted "Too expensive!!!" LMAO, like you can't tack on price to my bill, or make it available only upon request So my iced tea just sat there & of course I was still charged for it. Server was friendly, but clearly didn't know what a hand roll was, so my friend's order was not correct. We won't be back- we don't live here, but would go out of our way if the service was less punitive (Think Thai Bistro in Evansville-solid!) Food was marginal, women’s restroom ok, but men’s bathroom was disgusting (my guy works in construction, and uses porta johns, so if he says it’s nasty, that’s saying something) Additionally, the hot water was turned off in bathrooms- nothing like washing your hands in ice cold water in January- Which is likely why employees might have skipped that part, possibly contaminating food 🥶

The sweet waitress offered Yum Yum Sauce and Ginger Sauce with my Bento Box and salad. I'm not sure what I was supposed to put the sauces on and tried them on everything because I could have eaten both with a spoon! The onion soup...a beef or pork broth with chives and a couple of mushrooms... also superb. The spring roll and mini California roll were nothing exceptional but tasty, especially with the ginger sauce, and teriyaki chicken was very good.

Three hairs in my food on my birthday. I asked the waitress and she said the chef didn’t have his hairnet on.

The waitress was friendly and attentive. That was the best part about our visit. The food was mediocre at best. The steak was average. The fried rice was not fried rice. The shrimp was good. The sushimi was room temp and tasted a bit off. The eel sushi roll and the star sushi roll were decent. The food came quickly, which makes me think the sushi and sushimi is prepared in advance. We wanted to try someplace new and our first visit was a miss. It might be a one off, but we will probably stick to our regular restaurants.

I ordered the filet & scallops. I woke up the next morning puking & had severe diarrhea. I went to the doctor & found out I had food poisoning. Assuming it was from undercooked scallops or old scallops. I was was sick for 4 days & missed work for it. I highly suggest that if you eat here, don’t order any seafood!! Just take the 30 minute drive to Evansville & eat at higher quality hibachi grills
