Brick Street Ice cream is located right across the street from the Courthouse, near the old Ritz Theater, in downtown Rensselaer. Although the prices are a bit high, it doesn't detach from how smooth and creamy their ice cream treats are! All entirely homemade, and very, very good!

Best ice cream in town. This quaint little shop is tucked away in the downtown district. It has a charming decor that welcomes you right in. The staff is very friendly and very helpful with creating things off menu. I had a small Carmel espresso ice cream in a cup. Wish I would have gotten the large it was sooooo good! My wife asked for a banana split in a cup (one of her favorites) but it wasn’t on the menu. Staff was more than happy to create it. The parlor is very clean and the bathrooms were spotless. What an awesome addition to the area.
I got the peanut butter malt. Very smooth, rich, and delicious. Nice and friendly staff. Would highly recommend for a sweet date night.

My granddaughter and I tried them tonight for the first time! We both had their brick which they compare to a blizzard but WOW so much better and customizable with so many flavors! Such a cute and friendly place for a sweet treat!
