Warning: Do NOT go to Las Cabanas in Roanoke... The entire restaurant was being run by children. We saw one adult woman who handled the checkout. Our servers, bussers, greeter all young children. Literally all under the age of 12. And to top it off it took 2.5 hours to get our food, they forgot two of our meals entirely, mine came out ice cold so I sent it back…and then they charged us for two extra drinks and didn’t bother to offer a discount on our meals or an apology. Terrible service and way to run a business.

Ate here 8/4/23. Poor/slow service, cold food, weak margaritas. Didn't get what we asked for. Multiple tables got up and left while we were there. Don't recommend at all.

We tried it 2 times.First time, we went with company. They didn't have any of the three things that we wanted to order (wow!)...so we left and went to Ft Wayne to eat. How embarrassing for us, having taken company there!!Second time, we went (trying to give them a fair chance and willing to try again). I ended up just eating chips and cheese because they would not substitute sauces on the meals with something I could eat - without charging exorbitant prices! ?♀️ The other person in my party had a burrito combo....and the food was very bland and unappealing to them.Would not recommend this place to anyone, sadly. ? Make the trip to Ft Wayne and get good Mexican food you'll be happy with. ?

Good food - Family owned & run. Nice, clean, very fast, & polite service. I don’t give it 5 stars just because they didn’t have guacamole, which I expected at a Mexican restaurant especially since I can’t eat salsa. But, other than that it was great.

I tried the stuffed poblano pepper with shrimp, rice and refried beans and the tortilla soup. The rice and pepper were OK, but the beans were flavorless. The soup was a generous portion but had a bit too many tortillas and overwhelmed the delicious broth. The salsa served with the chips was less chunky than I like and was not spicy at all.

Food was awful like they rushed to cook it. Server act like she was angry she had to do some actual work. Not to mention whn I walked in, it wasn’t 1 person eating inside not a 1! Shld known something. I don’t I’ve ever walked into an empty restaurant. That was my experience here

I live in Los Angeles, so I have a reasonable sense of what constitutes good Mexican food, and this qualifies. It was great! The service was great! Scanning the negative reviews, you will likely conclude the same thing I did, which is that some people get very angry when they place a big takeout order and a couple of their chimichangas are missing. But look. It's a small business. It is not a corporate behemoth that has polished its customer service pipeline to a shrieking gleam. If you wish to eat brightly packaged, mass-produced food that tastes the same every time and is instantly refunded the moment you call the 1-800 number on the receipt, then okay: Chili's is right over there. They have 2.5 stars or whatever because the food tastes like cardboard. The food at this place tastes great. Isn't that what matters to you? If not, why are you here?

They accomadated my keto dietary requests very well but my cabana fajitas were super salty. Im not sure what they fried them in but it was almost overwhelming.However, It did not stop me from eating every bite.

This was a descent Mexican restaurant. I was neither impressed or disappointed. They did bring out the wrong dish for my wife even after coming back and verified what she wanted before she put the order in. They corrected the problem quickly and brought the right dish out. Not sure if I will be going back.

Food is authentic however the prices in the menu do not reflect what they charge you. Hold on to your wallet. For a few more dollars you can enjoy a much better meal for the price.
