Overall nothing to write home about. Service was good and people were nice. Large selection of drafts and some live music but it just didn’t really wow you like a brewery or nice bar would. Drinks were a bit overpriced for beer in downtown Roanoke.
Great beers.
This trip to the Trubble Public House has been the most disappointing trip to a Trubble locationWhen we entered the location, the one visible employee was busy cleaning tables. We seated ourselves at the bar, no service at that time, my significant other saw a sign that said order here, so she went there and waited, the one visible employee walked by her and said nothing to her. She walked back to where we were seated at the bar and waited again. After no service, we chose to go to a different establishment.I am deeply saddened over this. Trubble Brewing is one of my favorite local breweries.I am hoping my next visit to a Trubble location will prove to be the excellent service that I am accustomed to from Trubble.
Extremely fun place to go. If the owner is there, it's even more lively. Not a lot of food options if you are looking to go for dinner.
Could have been a stellar night. First time there and my immediate impression was that it had a great atmosphere but that wore off pretty quickly. The karaoke guy was so-so. His music bingo game had an eardrum-piercing beep between each song clip that left my eye twitching and looking for an escape. People were openly smoking and vaping inside. Reported it to the bar tender on the off chance he hadn’t noticed it (the other bartender was actually up doing karaoke with one of the smokers) and he totally just brushed me off. “Yeah, I don’t even know what they’re doing.” Then just proceeded to go about his business. Would have stayed (with our group) and proceeded to drink but left right away because of that.
Chill bar in Downtown Roanoke with 8 rotating craft beers on tap, snackadoodles (chips, pretzels, tots etc), and full bar. Often have live music. They do have a pool table and darts. Worth a stop by if visiting Roanoke.3.8/5
Good beer and atmosphere.
This was a fun small town atmosphere with great unique local beers on tap. Loved it and will be back

It was a pleasant surprise to find this bar/restaurant after leaving the art gallery. The menu is small but my barbecue sliders were yummy and the house slaw was excellent with a kick of spice to it. For our appetizer we had pretzels and I think a beer cheese type dip that was very good. The staff was very friendly. Nice relaxing atmosphere. They have dart boards if you play with steel darts and a pool table. We enjoyed it!
Great beer and atmosphere, billiards ? available. Need to remove/replace lights in front of the TV'S obscuring view of TV's during sporting events.
Clean atmosphere and nice facilities. Not crowded and good drink selection.
A nice bar located in Roanoke. There is a good selection of beer that seems to change weekly. The mixed drinks are tasty also.
I went with four friends and we all had a blast. We all loved the signature cocktails at this location and of course the beer was fantastic. The staff was helpful and fun, as well as the clientele. We enjoyed watching others play darts and thought about playing pool, but we were so caught up in conversation and libations, we lost track of time and ended up closing the place down. Great little laid back hang-out.
