Food is good considering there are no other options in the area, pricey though, Jennie fired me when I worked for her because my father past away so I've not much nice to say for her, but the restaurant is a good place to eat if your unfortunately hungry as your driving past.

I've never felt like this in a restaurant before . Let me explain. We haven't been able to come here in awhile because of living a further now so we decided to go this past Wednesday. We arrived around noon , they weren't busy at all . They only had three small tables with customers . When we walked in I felt like we walked into someplace that we didn't belong what so ever , not sure if the waitresses have RBF or they were actually angry we were there. I'm not going to describe them but one of them stated we have another two and acted extremely upset. Once we actually got our waitress she wasangry !! We felt like we were a HUGE inconvenience. Tried asking about some menu items and she wouldn't let me speak about it , kept interrupting me , very snide very abrupt! Instead of answering me she stated " is that what you want ?!" So I let my hubby order, again same snide attitude once he was ordered it was my turn , I attempted to order then she interrupted four times in a row with a tone to ask my husband a question. So she asked are you ready yet , so I ordered but was cut off . When the food came my order wasn't even placed right because for some reason she didn't want to take my order . We needed a few things including drink refills and missing food but we were truly uncomfortable with the entire situation. What food that was placed was really good and what we received are two different things and the main part of my hubbies meal was missing. I'm not sure what was going on but man if you don't want to work in customer service please don't do it . Only in the end when paying she was somewhat decent. We would love to come back but again this was an truly awful experience! We moved out of the area awhile ago and really missed this place because we loved the food and it used to be a great experience but it definitely was far from that this time sadly.

This was my first time here. This is a quaint hometown breakfast and lunch restaurant in New Carlisle, Indiana. Our booth had comfortable seats and it was situated right over one of the heat ducts which made itnice and warm the entire time we were there!. Our server was polite and checked on us often enough to keep our drinks filled. I had the BLT club sandwich which was a triple decker! It was grilled with butter on the outside slices of bread and the tomatoes were nice and ripe and it had ample bacon slices. It was actually the best BTL I’ve ever had! My husband had the BBQ pork sandwich and said it was very delicious. I highly recommend Jennie Rae’s for hometown good cooking!
