Starbucks continues to impress with their innovative menu updates, and the new **Vanilla Protein Latte**

This handcrafted drink blends bold signature espresso with their protein-boosted milk (made with whey protein isolate) and classic vanilla syrup for a smooth, rich vanilla flavor that's sweet without being overwhelming. A grande hot version delivers around **27g of protein** (and the iced one hits up to **29g**), all while keeping calories reasonable at about 310 for hot or 270 for iced. It's creamy, frothy, and tastes surprisingly close to a traditional vanilla latte—none of that chalky protein powder aftertaste you might expect from other high-protein options.

The vanilla comes through beautifully: warm, toasty notes with just the right sweetness, and the espresso provides that perfect coffee backbone. It's energizing, satisfying, and feels like a smart upgrade to your usual coffee run—great for post-workout, busy mornings, or anyone trying to sneak more protein into their day without sacrificing taste.

If you're a vanilla latte fan, this is a must-try. Highly recommend grabbing one hot on a chilly day or iced when you need something refreshing.

Staff was not knowledgeable about whether or not they had decaf, and was unprofessional and unfriendly.

Stopped at the Starbucks inside this travel plaza, and it turned out to be a really convenient and well-run spot. The staff worked quickly, the line moved smoothly, and the order came out exactly as requested. My drink was fresh, hot, and made with the same quality you expect from a full standalone Starbucks, which is not always guaranteed at highway locations.

The area around the counter was clean and well stocked, with plenty of merchandise, snacks, and grab-and-go items available. The seating nearby is comfortable and gives you a good place to relax for a few minutes before getting back on the road. The whole setup feels organized and modern, making it a reliable stop if you want a good coffee break during a long drive.

Took them 27 minutes to fulfil my mobile order. They just didn’t notice the drink stickers and didn’t know to make the drinks until I asked about them

We bought cappuccino from here during our travel. Almost half of the cup was empty. When we realized, we went back to let them know, but instead of correcting their mistake, they said “this is normal to have it half” and they did nothing. We have been the same stuff all the time from other Starbucks and this is the first time it is like this. They are just ripping you off knowing that you will not be a constant customer in a rest area. Buy your drinks from somewhere else.
