Best, friendliest staff anywhere. Great, truly authentic German food. Great German beer with good bar prices. Owners are great people. Live music. Had great conversations with people at the next table. Everyone is friendly! This was our first visit, and we will definitely be back.

Tonight was our second visit to Weiss' Gasthaus. We both had different entrees each visit and all were equally delicious! The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. (Our bill was about $80 for 2 people, but that included appetizers, soups, entrees and beers.) Looking forward to a return trip soon!

Outstanding breakfast. Visited South Bend for a football game. I was very surprised that there was not a crowd here on a Sunday morning. The service was excellent and so was the breakfast. Perhaps the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had.

LOVED LOVED this place ! We tried out their new Wednesday night they were trying out , and the burger was mouth watering with such big portions, we didn't know anything about their beers but they were nothing but just perfect with just my Bit burger beer being that perfect light , smooth and D lish. The server was amazing to talk to a long with amazing service. They make their own pies that you would only truly find at home anywhere else made from scratch. Such a cute fun loving place just makes you feel at home even if you aren't even close to it. Beyond saved on our favorite places to sit down and eat at.

Authentic fresh German fare and hand made desserts. The Chef clearly cares about the food and dining experience. I would highly recommend the schnitzel or house sampler.

Delicious food, and great service! Brunch was amazing. Best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had, and I’m from the south. So glad we stopped here, and I can’t wait to try them for dinner one day.

Schnitzel and the potatoes were out of this world. The apple dessert was amazing. We had carry out and everything was perfect.

It was a very busy Saturday night. It took some time to get drinks and appetizers but we received everything we requested. The food was absolutely delicious. The servers worked hard and did their best to keep up. We will definitely be back because the food was so good.
