Always love coming here and ordering from here. Literally every party I have I cater from here. Steve is the best. I couldn’t be happier with how we’re treated. We will always continue to give them our business.

Hate to say this, but the service and food isn’t as good a it used to be. We used to love coming here and getting take out, but we’ve been disappointed the last few times. :(

Steak tacos aren’t that good no flavor…Beans and rice are also trash. If you’ve maybe never had authentic Mexican food like the other positive comments you might like it. If not do yourself the favor and go to the spot by White Castle off 41 it’s much much better and authentic. Hard to even finish this taco no flavor disgusting waste of money

The food is always good. But sometimes better than others. This visit was really good. The food was fresh and delicious. My only negative is we come in a lot between lunch and dinner rush. And they are cleaning the kitchen during that time. (I appreciate the cleanliness) but sometimes when the cleaning scent is in the air and you're eating at the same time it is confusing to your senses. So maybe it could be ventilated outside somehow while the cleaning is happening?Thank you for the great food!

Great service and kind staff, but the food was terrible. The rice was dry and flavorless, warm salsa, tortillas were not warmed up, and we received barely any toppings for our tacos. And the tamale tasted old.

I can't think of anything I tried that I liked except maybe the chips. The salsa tasted like canned tomatoes. The cheese in the enchiladas and quesadillas was very unpleasant, almost the taste and texture of a thick Alfredo sauce. The enchilada sauce had no flavor. The beans and rice were very bland and the guacamole had a weird bitterness that I couldn't place. The service was only ok. The waiter was attentive enough but when there were options (margarita on the rocks or frozen, red or green enchilada sauce), the server never asked and we got whatever he chose for us, only realizing afterward looking more closely at the menu that we would have had a choice.

So let me tell you about this restaurant... after working all morning and afternoon. I decided to try this place seeing that vegan options were offered and I was so excited to try the vegan mushroom and jackfruit tamales and veggie tacos. I'm talking about mouth salivating ok omw to this restaurant.I walk in get my carryout and leave back out. Got to my car to enjoy this food just to open and discover that I didn't have any silverware so without checking my food 1st I went back in just to ask for silverware. That wasnot a problem. Got back to the car, opened up the food and seen my rice and beans had molded vegan cheese on top. So I proceeded into the restaurant again to let them know that the cheese is molded and before I could even ask for a a fresh order without the cheese the lady snatched my food from me like I was the problem. She was very rude and condescending saying "she must be more ignorant than me because thats not mold on the cheese".. I also wanted a new veggie taco made because that had the cheese on top of it as well along with a refund of .50 since that was the substitute charge and she was just nasty rude. She made herself go back into the kitchen three different times because she wouldn't just listen to me at all. Finally after forgetting my vegan sour cream on the taco She tried to take the taco back and at this point I just wanted the sour cream in a cup so I could still enjoy my dinner. She brought the sour cream out and threw it in my bag and so I asked "this is vegan sour cream right?" And this lady gonna ask me with her face all scrunched up if I would like to see the difference in sour creams?...No, I don't because I already know what the difference of the two are. I politely told her to enjoy the rest of her day and walked out. I will never ever visit this establishment again. The taco was actually pretty good however my jackfruit and mushroom tamale didnt have any mushrooms and the tamale to filling ratio was definitely off.

Huge portions, we went with a group of 7 on a monday night and were taken care of very well. The food was good and everyone enjoyed what they ate. Being from Texas, it was not at all spicy, but that is more in line with the Hoosiers' expectations. Did I mention the big portions... even the 2 teenage boys were full at the end.My sister is allergic to gluten, and they were very understanding. The chips are all corn, so she was able to get a chicken nacho plate. The chips are a thicker style, not my favorite but I still ate a whole basket. Salsa was not spicy at all, but had a good flavor.Dietary restrictions: Ask about gluten free options.

Forgot limes and hot sauce. Was over $50 for 12 small tacos. Was D+ food at best. Go to El Jimador in Cedar Lake or Court St in Crown Point. Half price and better food.

Wanted take out and tried to order ahead but the line wasn’t working- no big deal. Went there and placed the order to go. The woman who took our order even repeated everything back to us correctly. Yet, when I got home 2 out of the 3 orders were wrong. I will say it was super fast and they were super friendly but when your order ends up being wrong that counts for less. I have eaten in before and the food was very good so I’ll say that’s your best bet- to eat there. Wish I could give a better review.
