They forgot half our bridal shower order the afternoon of our bridal shower. They still charged full price for the entire order. When we called for a manager the next day, we were told they'd call back if it was a manager related issue. Do not use them for events!!!

I recently ordered a custom Buzz Lightyear cake from Marilyn’s Bakery, and I couldn't be happier with the result! The cake looked absolutely incredible – every detail was spot on, from the colors to the character design. It truly captured the spirit of Buzz Lightyear and made the celebration extra special.
But this cake wasn't just about looks – it tasted amazing too! The cake was moist, rich, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Everyone at the party raved about it, and there were hardly any leftovers by the end of the day.

Amazing custom cakes!! My daughter had a specific style cake she was hoping for. I thought I had emailed the picture when I ordered the cake but it did not go through. When I arrived to pick up the cake it was pretty but not as my daughter had wanted. And even though it was my fault that I didn’t check to make sure they had my picture, the decorator offered to fix it at no charge! And it pretty much meant she had to re-frost the whole cake. When I came back to pick it up it was PERFECT!! Every detail exactly like the picture I had! On top of everything else the cake tasted as good as it looked! My daughter was so thrilled!!! It was everything she had wanted for her special occasion! Thank you Marilyn’s!!!

This was our first time getting a cake from here and treated my mom very disrespectfully and completely messed up the cake she bought as a surprise gift for me and my wife's anniversary.
She asked them for chocolate buttercream frosting, and what they gave her was clearly not that. When my mom picked it up, she told them that it didnt look right at all. They IGNORED HER and just told her she was wrong and it was fine.
Well surprise surprise, when my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and tried the cake, it was not fine. We knew something was up immediately just from looking at it. We have gotten the same type of cake on birthdays each year from many different places all over. This was not what we asked for at all.
It was a joke. Tasted like pure whipped cream from a can. Definitely not chocolate, definitely not buttercream either. I see in their other reviews that there are pictures of what an actual chocolate iced cake from this place looks like, so I know they're CAPABLE of making something correctly at least.
Maybe they're just incapable of admitting to a mistake 30 minutes before closing. Even though they could have avoided this whole situation by being honest in the first place and giving a refund so we would at least know there's a problem BEFORE our celebration...
Not one ounce of responsibility was taken here. We will see how they respond to this review and our attempts to contact them for a resolution and will update this post depending on what they do and how they treat us.
