Perfect At scottsburg very friendly

We had a 45 minute wait. But the waitress , Lillyanna, was fantastic!

Service was great and friendly, food was wonderful.

We had a 30-minute wait and then when we got seated people that got seated after us got waited on. When we finally did get our food. We didn't have any silverware. The waitress seemed overwhelmed. I was a waitress for 41 years. I felt sorry for her. It was not a good day

Didn’t receive one side. I asked about it and the waitress went to the back and yelled for my dumplings. She came out and said it was 86th. I asked does that mean you don’t have dumplings and she said yes. The catfish was fried perfectly.

My sister ask that her scrambled eggs be replaced as they were over cooked and brown. Second time they were better but not great . The food was warm. I had sausage patties with my breakfast, two of which were cooked, one was raw in the center. I mentioned it to our server and she didn't seem to know what to say or do. My assumption was she would replace it with something that was fully cooked but she did not return until she brought our bill. I believe she May be inexperienced but very friendly. The store Front is clean and well maintained, several employees busy setting up for the next season. Our host was super friendly and we were seated immediately. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. I don't find the atmosphere as comfortable with the lighter walls and brighter lights. Although, it was very nice to sit near the fireplace where it was warm and cozy.

I became unwell as soon as we arrived and our server was quick to respond to my medical needs.

Alot of the servers looked like they were on the ball. Zoe was not. Visibly chatting in the back while food was cold and never received items we asked for.

I don’t know if Cracker Barrel changed up the recipes but it was not great. My server was nice. But I waited 40 min for my order to arrive. I watched 3 other tables come and go. I fot flavorless French toast, bacon with some bonus meat mixed in my eggs were half cooked half uncooked (scrambled )and they must’ve changed the recipe or something with the hash brown casserole cause it just is not it anymore and I loved their hash brown casserole before. So I’m not sure what happened or who’s to blame or what but it wasn’t the best experience and no, i did not eat it all. And it was not busy.

I had ordered decaf coffee. When it arrived, it was cold. The waitress said she would bring me a fresh cup as soon as it brewed. However, I had eaten my meal before she remembered to bring me more coffee.

Dietary restrictions: There are not many low-carb choices in the sides.

We’ve been to Cracker Barrel in Scottsburg about 5 times in the last year. We’ve dined I. and did curbside. Everything trip that has been extremely slow service and inaccurate orders fulfilled. It’s unfortunate because it’s only of the only “nicer” American restaurants in Scott county. I could have went to the store and made my own food in the 1.5 wait we had for curbside pick up yesterday.

I ordered a catfish meal ,consisting of 2 fillets, okra that was terrible, small portion of fries ,and grilled sour dough n fried apples. for 22.19 ,,,,,,the best part of the meal was the apples and sour dough.

Staff is friendly. Orders come out extremely slow every time. They are often out of what you order and don’t tell you until you’re there to pick up your order. Food is often undercooked e.g. completely raw chicken.

This location survives only because it’s one of the only sit down restaurants, but it has been a disaster for sometime. Only to continue getting worse.

I hope new management or someone who can save it will do so, but you’re better off getting Flip Daddy’s, Puerto Vallarta, or even Denny’s.
