We have lived in Scottsburg for 4 months now and we have ate here 6 or 7 times now. We always Door Dashed until last night because of our daughter being non verbal and we’re never sure how she will behave if it’s loud and there’s a lot of chaos. We decided to try it for the crab legs right at 4pm so it wasn’t very busy, and let me tell you just how accommodating they were.
We asked for the back area and they had no problem seating us back there. A very nice man came to our table to see how we were doing and ask if the room was warm enough, and tried to talk to our daughter. She waved and did all she could do so we explained that she is nonverbal and he said if there was anything else they could do to just let him know. I really need to say how impressed we were by that. I am not sure if he was a manager or the owner, but hopefully he sees this because that kind of hospitality is rare anymore- this coming from a former server of 20+ years.
Our server was Lauren and she did an excellent job of keeping our glasses full and crab legs coming out to us. Everything we have ordered from there has been great from the salmon to the ribs, po boy, and burgers.

The food and service were excellent. My husband have the original burger and chili cheese fries. I have the steak and asparagus. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavor was great. No extra sauces needed! It would be nice if the cold a/c wasn't blowing directly on the booths. It's January and the cold air was making it un-enjoyable. The waitress was great when I brought it up and quickly moved us and our food to another warmer table.

Night before last I came into Flipdaddy’s for a to go order. I ordered a full rack of ribs dinner to go with coke slaw and a side salad. I live exactly 4:32 minutes from this restaurant. The ribs were cold, no flavor and there wasn’t any coleslaw in the order. No I did t call back that night because I was tired from a 14 hour day at work. So tonight when I came in your bartender with the pink in hair said she couldn’t do anything to assist with my issue and that I would have to contact a manager.
I will state that I ordered two drinks and an appetizer before I put the to go order in. It is was 65.00 tan with tip on the night in question.
I left tonight paid for my appetizer and left no tip.

We went for the crab legs and we were impressed. We have been a handful of times in rhe last couple of years and bever been disappointed but tonight, was above and beyond. We arrived around 7 & the restaurant was jam packed. The hostesses were kind, patient & accommodating. Once we got sat, only about a 30 min wait our service was impeccable. Crab legs were a great deal for the price & the fact they kept that amount of people happy was impressive. We will definitely be back.

Stopped in recently and tried the southwest burger, with fries and beer cheese, and the food was amazing. But the best part of our experience was our server, Chelsea. She was very attentive, very polite and a breath of fresh air, that made for an exceptional dining experience.
Ordered the Bison burger with fries. Wife ordered the salmon. Waitress was great. Place was empty. Took less than 5 minutes to get the food so that had us concerned. Fries was stale and Luke warm like straight out of the microwave. Wife’s asparagus was ok but the cheese had already hardened and was lukewarm. Salad had a lot of wilted brown ends. Totally different from the last time we ate there

We had the Firehouse 51 burgers and appetizer sampler. Everything tasted great.
The food took a little while to come out, but considering we were there when the place was pretty packed it was a short wait.
Our waitress was really nice. She checked on us regularly and even suggested the underappreciated bean burger for next time we visit.
