My mom and I love to visit Batar when we have the chance. It is surrounded by pine trees and a lush garden. On the inside it has a whimsical cafe vibe. The staff is always friendly. The food is always fresh. And their freshly brewed tea is always to die for. It is a unique experience and I highly recommend trying this place!

I went to Batar with my mom and sister as a girls day! We just went for desserts!! I ordered a raspberry chocolate cake!! They have sandwiches, soups, drinks and desserts. I would recommend and get this again!!

Such a relaxing time, having a delicious lunch in a lovely dining room with the gardens and surrounding woods visible through the many windows. Every person we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. We drove 2 hours to have lunch only to be told they were booked for the day because of reservations. We were told it was posted on Facebook and we do not have Facebook. I don’t remember ever having to have reservations when Barb was here. I am not taking away from the place because it is a lovely place but how would you feel driving 2 hours only to be told “you should have made a reservation” when we had no idea that is how the place operates.
