The garlic double steakburgers I've had here have been truly the best ones I've ever had at any Steak N Shake. The Oreo shake is great. My husband and I have come here and eaten a few times now. I don't mind the self-service setup.

Everything seems to be moving to a less interactive experience. There were no servers, but you ordered at a kiosk. The food comes out very quickly, and it doesn't taste bad. It had more grease than usual. It's not really my thing, but it tasted great otherwise. It feels like it's losing its atmosphere for some reason. If I had to guess, I would say fewer people and the lack of servers. Overall not a bad experience, but not the experience that nostalgia has led me...
