Great place! I’ve never been here before but was pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious way beyond just bar food! Was very happy with our random choice of checking this place out. The chips were light and airy, the food was awesome, the dips were amazing.

Been here many times. Was with a group of 15 people today. Our waitress did great sorting everything out, except missing the nuts on the berry salads that several of us had (probably not her fault). My wife and I being vegan, we got the pretzel, hummus platter, and berry salads. Would like more non-meat options, but it probably would not be economically feasible in our small town.

This is our favorite date night spot whether it’s out at the outdoor patio when the weather is nice or inside by the fireplace when it’s cold! Tonight we had the brisket Philly cheesesteak and hand cut fries. My hubby also had the wings and he said “best in Seymour!” The drinks are always fantastic! Tom does a great job! Go check it out!

Should you find yourself in Seymour, IN, you will want to pop into Vat & Barrel. The staff are friendly and it's a fun atmosphere. Everything on the menu is locally sourced. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine and cheese plate (which was YUGE BTW!). My 8 year old was with us and all the staff were extra kind to her. Really special place ❤️

We were looking for a little food in Seymour around 8pm and found this place. The pulled pork nachos were amazingly delicious. My husband enjoyed his old fashioned and I had a caramel apple slushy that was so good. The staff were friendly and helpful. I want to stop by again on our travels through Indiana.

Great gem in the heart of Seymour, IN. Love the swanky atmosphere and the huge selection of local distilleries. The owner Tom is very friendly and fun to talk to.
We had the best steaks of our lives last night! The filets were huge and cooked sous-vide for the most spectacular flavor. All the food was great, the atmosphere is awesome, and they made great cocktails. Vat & Barrel excels in every category. Way to go, Tom!

Fantastic staff at this place. I waited till my last night in town to go. The owner is a true gentleman and the gals working there are great. I indulged in a little too much libation but they got us a cab back to the hotel. Food was great. I ordered a Reuben which is my go to sandwich. Probably the best meat I’ve ever had on a Reuben. I felt it could’ve used a tad more dressing, but otherwise it was slamming!

My husband and I stopped in for a drink. We’re from out of town so we were unaware you of the closure, and soft opening happening that day. We were warmly welcomed in anyways and the owner bought us both a beer and sat down and chatted with us! We could have/would have stayed all afternoon but we didn’t want to impose as you were getting ready for a party. Unfortunately we couldn’t make it to the opening on Friday, BUT we are determined to come back! And we’ve already shared how wonderful our experience was with friends. What a warm welcoming atmosphere! Thanks for being so kind and awesome. We WILL be back! 😊
