We had the buffet. Food was hot, fresh, and good. Fried chicken was a touch salty for me, but tender and juicy. Everything else was excellent!It was very very busy and their service still was not withholding. They managed to serve everyone very well, people didnt have to wait long to be seated. Waitress was kind and took care of us.

I've recently been employed at blue gate and it's an amazing place to be. Wonderful bakery, buffet, gifts... It's just an all around warm feeling no matter what part of the establishment ur in. I'm very blessed to be a part of it all.

Buffet is awesome but kind of pricey! Cost is 24.00 a person as of April 2024. Great food ! I highly recommend this place! Price does not include your tip to your server.
The food is a blend version of Craker Barrel. The service was decent and people were kind but don't believe the hype on the food.

Was just in Shipshewana for the Easter weekend ,visited the Blue Gate on Friday evening for dinner we will.nevef visit again cold dinner rolls to start I had the fried chicken dry and old tasting ,taste like a frozen dinner to me .I thought that was what they were known for. Subway across the street much cheaper would of taste better.
The food was AMAZING! Everything tasted so good. It was quite crowded, which detracted from the atmosphere
