Millie's Market Cafe

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the Flea market. Restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the building. Service was very good and friendly. Only complaint was the portion control as related to the price charged. Reuben sandwich had two small slices of beef, Other places usually have 3 or 4 slices. That being said, the food was very good.

Wonderful experience! Nice and clean, friendly service, speedy food. Thank you Carolyn and the folks at the register for being so nice to us. We will definitely return on our next visit to Shipshewana!

Had a wonderful lunch at Millie's! The turkey cranberry melt was excellent!! Came with outstanding seasoned fries. Service was fantastic! Will definitely eat there when back in town.

We hosted a 60th surprise party at Millie’s and our experience was wonderful. They allowed us to utilized their space, after business hours for the party and the rooftop patio made for a beautiful setting. Davis and his staff were more than helpful. They were quick to communicate during planning and provided a full meal buffet, quick and delicious. They even allowed us to use the carousel after hours. Hearing the party sing happy birthday while adults and children alike all rode the carousel will forever be a special memory for our entire family. Thanks Millie’s!

I have been to Millie's many times. We drive from Michigan and time our 2 hour drive so we can eat lunch at Millie's. It's our go-to place. Very good food, atmosphere and friendly staff who share the best places to visit. FAVORITE!!!

The service was pleasant from everyone and the roof top location was excellent. The four cheese burger was a big disappointment. For a total of $18 with tax, it is a cheese sandwich with an ok burger in the middle. I suggest trying something else.

Excellent food and service

We were told about this place from a local. The reception wasn't as warm as we would have thought it would be. Service was ok, but impersonal. We assumed it would be much more warm. Food was ok. After seeing all the reviews before going here and since it was recommended by a local, we had higher hopes. Had the cheeseburger and fries, neither had much flavor. Visited on a Tuesday in August, so we figured they would be happy for the business brought in by the flea market... just not what we thought it would be. Maybe we just visited on a off day?

It's literally one of the best restaurants I've been to. Most restaurants I review on here are because they weren't good, to say the least. This one was different. So for a bit of back story, I went to the Philippines for about 40 days, and when we got back home in Indiana, most food I wasn't satisfied with because the food here just isn't the same, but here, man I fulfilled me. The mushroom and Swiss is literally the best sandwich I had ever had. The wait times aren't long and the fries are immaculate. I have no complaints. I love this place.

Every time we're in Shipshewana, we stop here for lunch. The menu is basic: you mostly get sandwiches to choose from, along with chicken fingers, good soups and pies. Although simple, everything is made with an Amish twist. Homemade bread is used for all sandwiches, including the hamburgers. Plus, this is a place that characterizes the phrase "Service with a smile." You can find it on the top floor of Davis Mercantile.

Food is always tasty atmosphere is calm the food came quickly. The only negative was the waitress she only took our order brought us our food and drinks but never came back and ask for refills.
