Delicious ice cream!!! We all enjoyed our cone! Huckleberry, Summer Peach, Chocolate soft serve, Black Raspberry soft serve — all amazing. And the cost was very reasonable. We will definitely stop there again!
After checking out the reviews for various shops/ice cream in Shipshewana, decided to try Mom's and see which reviews give the better picture...and are we glad we did. When we arrived, there were numerous locals around (always a good sign), and we were quickly asked our choices. I ordered a small waffle bowl (2 dips) with Coconut Almond and Butter Pecan & Cashew, while Julia got the same size with just the Coconut Almond scoops. We were expecting some small scoops...but...
Love this small ice cream shop in Shipshewana. Drove around town looking for it because I'd tasted it once before and was determined to find it again! Now I know where it is and it is a regular stop on any treks through Amish country. Hope the business continues to flourish and grow and add more flavors. (One suggestion: describe what is in the flavors you have posted .... the names make it hard to choose.) Peppermint is simply the best in the world! Prices very reasonable...
