Sometimes stop here when we go to the shipshewana auction. Food is consistently good. They can be quite busy if you get there at the wrong time

The food was excellent and the staff was nice and friendly. Everything looked clean and the food on the buffet was kept full.

I'm not sure what I expected, but it wasn't this. I was surprised by the Amish server wearing an ankle bracelt. Was told they didn't wear jewelry. We went there for breakfast and were told breakfast was only served until 11. It was 11:10 so we ordered lunch. The fries were good, but definitely, the store bought frozen fries. My BLT was good, and I liked the bread they used. My husband got a hot ham and cheese and it came on a bun, which he wasn't expecting, but the ham he said was really good, you can tell it was actually ham and not lunch meat. I had the Cole slaw, which I thought was very good. My hubby opted for the applesauce. He wasn't able to eat it because he thought it tasted a little too tart. Probably won't be going back. it just seemed a little too fake to us. We were looking for a little more authentic Amish meal, this is very cafeteria-like.

Our group of 4 went for lunch here yesterday. It had been 3 years or so since I had been here and I remember enjoying the Amish-style food and especially the pies. Well, maybe my memory deceived me or the place has slipped some. It is really not very "authentic Amish" style cooking. Plus, the pies (we tried 4 varieties) were just so-so. What is nice is that the place is very close to the Shipshewana auction - very easy walk. The people are nice, although the service was pretty slow. I can't say that I will make it a point to go here again. There are several Amish-style restaurants in town and of course, for dinner, there are some very authentic places. I guess if I was hungry and only wanted a sit-down break from the auction, I might go again.

Food was very good and a decent portion but a bit on the high price side.

This is a great place for flea market type finds. Restrooms, benches to sit and rest, good food and many booths for shopping.

We stopped in here after a morning of shopping at the flea market. Since it was before 11 AM we ordered off the breakfast menu. Even though we were not real hungry (but had a almost 3 hour drive home and knew if we didn't eat something; we would get very hungry), we decided to get a lite bite. The spouse ordered the biscuits and gravy and I ordered the 2 fried mush with 1 egg. Both orders tasted very good and we took our leftovers home to finish up at dinner. Both the server and hosted were very pleasant and accommodating.

First hostess was unapproachable! Food was not to bad until we had dessert. Pies are not homemade, horrible canned fruit, crust was uninviting. Easy before you come way way overpriced $5 pet slice. See
