Had a group of 8 drop in at Ben's Bar in Shirley, all friends up from Florida. We all ordered food and let me say…. BEN’S DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Food and service were perfect! Everyone complimented on the tenderloins and onion rings, plus the ham and bean soup was their special of the day! Yummy! we drove from Elwood to try the Prime Rib. The homemade Pork Rinds are absolutely incredible. The Prime Rib was perfect. Definitely will be back. Great staff and the atmosphere was enjoyable.
Good place for a cold ?, and good food. Friendly place. Staff needs to not restock the bar coolers while the bar is busy. Had empty bottles on the bar and waited quite a while to get refills. Haylee saved the day and she wasn't even supposed to be working. Hard to find good help these days.
