Los Potrillos Tex-Mex and American Food

We just left from lunch. Very friendly staff. The food was delicious. Great homemade salsa and queso. Very good burritos and quesadillas. An add on.. when we pulled in, we were a little skeptical, because it is a restaurant made from a gas station. But decided to give it a try. So glad we did.

I’m a trucker, I came here to park my truck for the night and decided to try their food. I am BLOWN away, I got the brisket nachos and they were BY FAR the BEST nachos I’ve ever had, the staff was very friendly, this restaurant deserves more recognition!

Was driving back from Washington, IN to Indy about lunch time. Was drowsy and afraid of falling asleep. So, took the next exit and happened upon this little restaurant out in the country.
Gabriela was cleaning tables from what looked like a noon rush. She immediately wiped off a table for me, gave me a menu and took my drink order.
Very quickly she returned and took my food order: 3 soft taco plate w carne asada tacos, rice and refried beans.
Way more than I could eat. Food was hot and tasty. Well worth the accidental side trip. I'll definitely return next time I'm that way.
The salsa and chips were great.

Luv their smoked pork quesadilla, go every week staff very friendly and good food ✌️

The food was super delicious and the service is fast.

Parking: There are no markings to divide parking spaces.

Kid-friendliness: Great to take your kids to eat after a walk through the local parks

We love this little place! Everything from breakfast to dinner is amazing!! Ice cold beer and really great margaritas! Highly recommend!

The food was excellent, and the waitress was consistently kind and respectful. This is a great place for family dining and one of my favorite restaurants in Bloomington, IN.

Everything was absolutely delicious. From the homemade, fresh donuts to the variety of Mexican food. The menu is large and has great options for kids. Highly recommend!

Service was excellent. Food was mediocre. Wasn't bad but wasn't great. Small portions.. I will try again sometime see if it was just a one off. I see they have great reviews maybe I caught them on a down day. Overall it was decent.

Seemed a little slow but they just opened up. So wishing them the best with the restaurant. They had good food at a good price. Our waitress was super friendly and was always asking if we needed anything. Our drinks never went empty and just super great service. They did have beer but mixed drinks are coming soon. They were still putting the bar together and getting it all ready. The food was hot to order and it came out fast. The price was around 12 bucks for a good size portion.

Parking: Lots of parking no worries about that.

Wheelchair accessibility: Seemed like a wheelchair would be just fine.

First time visit. Food was delicious and the server was very friendly. We'll be back to try more. Been there a bunch of times now and never got a bad meal. They have some steady employees now and service has improved.
