I’m not one to make a review and a bad review at that. But I’ve been to the Nashville location in the past with no issues. But I went to the speedway location and it was not what I expected.
The service was great however my food was so disappointing. My burger which I asked for medium was beyond well done. And I never complain if meat is a little past my liking, but this wasn’t acceptable. My side was not the side I even ordered. And I guess the entire meal was so...read full review

Big Woods has a great atmosphere and the staff is great, with outside seating available. The food is generally pretty good, but some dishes need improvement. The lemon chicken was good, though the Brussel sprouts were dry and flavorless. The chicken pot pie was a little on the dry side and needed some sauce or gravy. The coconut margarita was delicious. However, service can be slow, and orders for pick up have been messed up, like missing tarter sauce for fish and chips. The bartender did not know how to make a martini. Great for sports fans and a bar-style environment, but the food could use some improvement.
