Dawson's is one of my favorite dining spots. Has been so for years. It has consistently good service, meals, & I enjoy being so close to the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway! I highly recommend it.

Two of the four of us got salmon. Dry and bland. Another got swordfish.. again, dry and bland. Service was decent. But just really disappointed in food.

The menu on OpenTable is not the current menu, prices aren't close. It's a steakhouse. We went for lunch and there were no steak option. Food was bland. Our server was flaky, had to be reminded multiple times what we ordered. Food was just ok, no reason to return.

Service was excellent. Food was good as well. There was a strong at times smell of cigarette smoke which was odd. It was a bit cold by the door. Overall good experience. We were there for Valentine's day and were a bit bummed by the "special" but limited menu.

For no particular reason, I had not been to Dawson's in a while. So glad I opted to meet here for dinner last night. Excellent food (Tony and I love the same chicken), tasty beverages, friendly staff. Will be back sooner next time.
My first visit and tried the Reuban which was ok but not enough Kraut and lacked a little more meat for the hefty price of $18 ? Then a small side dish of Slaw. It's posted for only $7.95 at another site and I got an ice tea with refills but it was $20 before tip it seems so the server was expecting another 20% so I tipped $5. Little pricey for just a sandwich and small side of slaw. Albeit a delicious slaw.

I recently had their pasta at our annual Christmas party so I was excited to try this place for dinner. We were greeted when we walked in but something seemed off. We were seated near the bathroom, I asked if we could sit elsewhere and it seemed like that was an issue. We ended up sitting in the bar area. The guy eventually came to take our order. I asked for plastic. It seemed like that was an issue. I asked for napkins. It seemed like that was an issue. The guy proceeded to tell me to use the napkins at the table that was wrapped in the silverware. 🥴side eye...but whatever. Then of course as we're leaving out, he was super nice. Have a great night. Like dude, my entire experience was ruined. I definitely wont be back. I dont want to say they were the R word, but it definitely gave those vibes. I didnt even enjoy my food.
