So you would think that with 5 adults spending over $100 that the food would have at least been seasoned. The only thing good about it was the onion rings. I took 1 bite from the meatloaf burger and it literally tasted like a Salisbury steak without gravy slapped between a bun. For $13 you can get 15 pieces of shrimp and a whole basket of fries with you guessed it, not a pepper speck in sight. The mozzarella sticks tasted like they had been sitting in the freezer for ages. Save your money and go get some Chilis, or Red Robin.

We stopped by quickly for a root beer float, it was great but wow was the service awful. Our server was pissy from the get go and yelled at us bc we didn’t tip her for a $10 order after being cranky and impatient while we ordered. I get having a bad day but no need to take it out on other people.

Fun hole in the wall place with good food. Car hops will bring the food straight to your car.

Expected more out of this place after seeing it on Man v Food. I ordered a breaded tenderloin, onion rings and a root beer. the root beer was by far the best part of the meal. Tenderloin had a really bizarre flavor that’s hard to describe. very gamy, and kinda smelled like literal poop. very off-putting. onion rings were good for the first couple bites, then when they cooled off they got really tough and chewy. like they had been sitting for a while and were re-dunked in the fryer before serving them to me. Ordering is strange as well. they make you pay before you even get your food (i guess to prevent dine and dash) but tipping is cash only (or Venmo/Cash App). Tipping is very aggressive as well, with stickers inside the billfold demanding you “be generous/be nice”. I built this place up in my head and drove 3 hours to experience it but it was overall a huge disappointment.

I ordered a grilled tenderloin that was so tough I could barely cut it ,and a breaded tenderloin! Both had no seasoning or flavor at all! The fries were supposed to be seasoned fries, instead they were soggy fries with season salt on them! I also ordered a shake and it was like drinking warm chocolate milk! This place had good food before the new ownership and I have eaten from here numerous times! This will be my last!
