Heading home from Indy area, avoiding 69, and needing a place to eat dinner . . . found this on Google maps and took a little detour off of 9 to Summitville. So glad we did - YUM!! Menu had something for every taste, presentation was wonderful and food was delicious. Do yourself a favor and make your way to Hoosier Routes!
If you want an authentic small town experience this is the place. We both enjoyed The Hoosier, a large tenderloin sandwich. We ordered them fried with lettuce, tomato and pickle. Super crunchy, decent flavor. The Mac and cheese side didn't have much flavor but the french fries were fabulous.
Service was great and our lunches were served on china with cloth napkins. Nice!

Great service, great food, great atmosphere. This is a really nice restaurant in a small town. The owners work there most nights, they are wonderful people. Prices are very reasonable. They do an all you can eat fish once a month that is very good. Food is made fresh and served hot. Highly recommend
