Chubbies Pub And Grub

First off that no one has mentioned in the reviews that they charge you 4% for using a debit or charge card. We have been coming here for years as we live right down the street but not very often anymore if any. I love the prime rib so decided to go. The server was awesome. Same as a year ago… no horseradish sauce for the prime rib ( I brought my own from home) just in case they still didn’t have it. They say they are out but last year was told the manager dosen’t and won’t carry it. No oil for my salad (which only consisted of little cheese cucumber and onion.) All lettuce. My nephew had a tenderloin that was 10.99. He added tomato lettuce and mayo. Ended up being $15. Server didn’t say anything about an up charge. Loaded baked potato was swimming with velveta cheese when should have had shredded cheese. Took a carry out home with small ground wet burrito and it was the size of an enchilada. I get these a lot eating in (which are really good for the price) but have had several carry out wet burritos and are like this every single time being enchilada size. Again our server was very good last night but what the other reviews are saying about poor service is very true. You’re in luck if you have a good server. Also restaurant is never busy hardly anymore. Used to have to wait for a table sometimes on Saturday nights. Now only 1/3 to half full. Greed gets you nowhere. Used to be so good here and management cared and had pride. Not anymore

Waited for over an hour to get our lunch, when the food finally arrived several of us had wrong or missing items. Quit coming quite some time ago. Guess it's back on the no-fly zone.

Well we went to Syracuse for a weekend getaway and we decided to stop by Chubby's pub and grub... Upon walking into the building...we went in and seated ourselves ...one guy came in at the same time we did and sat at the bar....an older couple came in after us...we sat there waiting on a waitress to come and acknowledge us and give us menus...there were 3 hovering by the bar and talking to one another...they looked as us when we first walked in and I kept turning around to see if any one was coming to wait on us ...the one at the bar waited on a guy and then one of the waitress waited on the other couple that came in after us ...waited about 10 mins...got up and told the couple behind us to let them know that I give reviews on restaurants and we were disappointed that no one waited on us...it was our first time eating here...they was going to get one of the waitresses for us and I said no we're leaving we waited long enough.

Had a great Monday dinner along with bowling and arcade games. Pizza was very good and half price on Mondays. Help did a great job taking care of our food and drink requests.

good burgers. build your own burger on Thursday. Good deal Burgers are cooked to order. Lots of choice of toppings.

Friday night was AYCE Fish and Shrimp. Very good.

Always good food and service.

Waitress can’t hear what I ordered and got my whole order wrong

Visiting for a few days and decided to go bowling which we rarely do. So enjoyable. Staff friendly and we decided to stay for pizza (1/2 price a good incentive). It was tasty.

Tuesday Tenderloin never disappoints!

Good food. Service was great and she was so personable. Will be back. Get the tenderloin.
