The south bend location had been subpar for 30 years! New owners have made big changes. The pizza is almost as good as the good pizza kings/arnis. They now have the correct awesome pizza king crust. The whole pizza tastes much more like it should. Been waiting a long time. Now I don't have to go to Indianapolis/ Carmel area for a delicious pk, can't wait to return as it's only 35 minutes from me... Big ty....Pizza King Fanatic since 1974! I didn't get to talk to them as much to find out if the new corporation owners changed the business model from two different ones, west side of state yuk, east side yum, but it now tastes to me like they might have changed because the yuk location is now yum after 30 years? Noticed a lot more carry outs at this location than in years past. I know this is a acquired taste and everyone doesn't like it, but when it's done correctly, it is my favorite pizza pie!

**Restaurant Review: Disappointing Experience with Customer Service**
I visited Syracuse pizza King today, after placing a phone order with a promised 45-minute wait time. Unfortunately, upon my arrival after that duration, I discovered that my food was not only missing but had been mistakenly given to someone else.
All I received in response was a simple “I’m sorry” and the offer to remake my order while I waited, which was less than satisfactory. As a parent with two kids in the car, waiting for food we had hoped to enjoy, it only added to the frustration.
A little acknowledgment of the inconvenience—perhaps a discount, complimentary beverage, or anything to make up for the mishap—would have greatly improved the experience. As it stood, waiting for food that ought to have been ready left us feeling disappointed and undervalued as customers.
I hope management can address these customer service lapses to better handle such situations in the future.
We ordered two large to go - asked for one large sausage & received one large pepperoni Also large supreme with no mushrooms and received one large loaded with mushrooms Person taking order on the phone had no personality and acted like it was a bother to be taking our order. Very disappointed as we usually are pleased with Pizza King.

The pizza was the worst we have ever had. Hardly any cheese or toppings. Thinest crust. We stopped ordering from here after many awful times, but thought we would give it another try. Never again. A Jacks frozen pizza was better. $64 for 2 pizzas that tasted like cardboard. We will not order again
