Got seated and sat there for over 15 minutes with no one coming to get our drink or food order. They were not busy at all so there was no excuse.. made eye contact with multiple waitresses to get their attention and still no one came. We left and went elsewhere.

Really great atmosphere. It was a chilly fall day & the fireplace was going, the waitstaff was chipper & friendly. The bartender made a awesome Dirty Chai Tini.
Vegetarian options: Love the sautéed mushrooms in garlic butter, served with Naan bread cut into triangle pieces.

The only thing good about this restaurant is the view of a channel off Syracuse Lake. I have been going there for years and the food quality has gone down hill. Drinks are way overpriced for how they taste.
Great food and service, and I enjoyed being right on the water.

As far as eating on the water, this is one of the few places in Syracus that you can do it. The view is nice, but the decorations could use some updating. The menu has a decent variety of seafood, but nothing spectacular. I guess living on the east coast ruined my expectations of a waterfront restaurant. The fries were really good though and our server (Courtney) was very nice. The most surprising part of my dining experience was that I discover my new favorite ketchup. The Channel Marker serves 78 tomato ketchup and wow is this stuff good. I've been a Red Gold fan for quite a while, but I may be switching over after experiencing the delicious flavor of 78.

There was no outdoor seating, the closed in patio area had bees attacking the table, and the host and waitresses were rude. Also the calamari had a gross sweet chili sauce on them. Not a very good experience for a quick stop for drinks and appetizers. ?

I'm not much of a meat eater.... I do not eat red meat. I do eat chicken and fish, so I will say this place does their fish AMAZING!! I also am not one for seafood, but the Tuna is great. I have had the grilled chicken and the Anchor wrap...both are fantastic! And I am super picky when it comes to chicken being cooked thoroughly! The Nan bread pizza and BLT are great options for those who have questionable stomachs or want a gluten-free option. I do the BLT with no T and opt for pickle instead.
I LOVE potatoes, so I will get the skins once in a while. They aren't the healthiest, but that's what makes them soooo gooooood!!! However, sometimes, they do have a little burnt taste or a flashy taste. Not all the time, but sometimes a noticeable taste like they may be pre-cooked or frozen and re-heated. Again, this is my opinion, and it has not been every time. These are generally great, and the bacon is generally crunch AF.... just like I like it. I have stomach issues - Colitis and Immune issues. There are a lot of things I can not eat and shouldn't. But, I will say there are So many options here, something for everyone. And if you have something you are interested in, but the menu doesn't really support it, I have never had an issue with needing to substitute something or take something off due to food allergies. They are great to work with! Good food, Good people's! ?
Vegetarian options: I'm not all vegetarian, but prefer mainly meat free. I will do chicken, fish and bacon at times. They are great to work with to substitute in or out with preferences.
Parking: Has a plentiful parking area. For overflow, there is across street parking along roadside and grass areas. This place is bumpin' in peak times, so go bring your family and friends and meet some good folks.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly....Don't take them out to the porch though....not on the weekend's or in the evenings. Can get a little crazy! Haha

Great atmosphere right on the water. The burger and Reuben were great, but we would not recommend the French onion soup (the consistency was like a light gravy). Service was just ok - a little slow for refills although the servers had plenty of time to chitchat. Overall great place to dine.
