Channel Marker is the perfect place to boat, bike or drive for a beautiful casual lunch or dinner on the channel at Lake Wawasee. We love sitting outside at the Tiki at a table with an umbrella. It's good ANY time of year! Excellent, friendly staff!! Fall views of water as well, from indoors. Try a marshmallow martini. Tastes like dessert! During Summer - a half swamp water/half sunset & a BLT are ideal! Thank you!

First we ordered the bang bang shrimp. I would say the quality of this appetizer was on the level of long john silvers. Then for the main course we both got the steak Alaska. The steaks were mostly fat. We both ordered them medium rare but both steaks were pretty much raw. As for the service. My wife and I sat and watch the whole wait staff sit around tables and most of them were on their phones. I feel like the channel marker is not worth the cost.

We stopped in on a beautiful fall day because the website and Bringfido said dog friendly. Sadly, that was not true. 2 ladies were dining nearby and when I went to order at the bar, a waitress told me we couldn't stay. I asked we won't come inside, still not knowing we weren't allowed. She said the patio was closed. I said we don't mind coming in to get beverages and ordering our food. Nope. If the information online wouldn't have said no dogs or patio closed (which that is where we entered from) we wouldn't have stopped. Also had she been a little more polished with delivering the bad news and not so rude, I would have given them higher marks. Call ahead to see if you and your well-behaved dog are welcome. There are plenty of places nearby that welcome you!

I thought arriving at 335 would be an off hour so business would be slow. It was. But I think the chef was on lunch break because the coconut shrimp was way overdone, although the brussel sprouts were terrific! The shrimp tacos were cold. Everything the shrimp tortilla and dressing. Aren't they supposed to be warm? Service was poor. She came back to check on our food on the last bite.

I was visiting from Florida and we have a place very Similar at home. It is a hotspot, but in Florida I don’t care for the food. This place has both, It’s a great atmosphere and everything I’ve had here has been delicious. Very cool spot!!! Make sure you check it out.

I enjoyed my, “the Laker” a breaded cod sandwich! The side salad lacked lettuce and the Coconut Shrimp were over cooked but the atmosphere—can’t beat boating to a restaurant, friendly people, and good service make up for those mistakes. Call ahead for larger groups. We had no wait in a packed place.
