We love going to Frog Tavern, it's about an hour and a half drive for us but it's ALWAYS worth the trip. Great staff, great food and cold beer. We came during a slow lunch period and got to enjoy our meal outside on the patio/dock.
It is a great place to visit, food is excellent, atmosphere is welcome and friendly. The reason I rated it as 4 star is a menu selection is not that great, but the quality of food is outstanding. They have typical bar style menu with sandwiches and baskets. Nothing wrong with that, but if you are looking for a platter lunch...think twice
I had the shrimp basket and my wife had the chicken strips basket so we could share. Enough shrimp for the price, but a lot more chicken than expected in the basket...5 big strips.
Parking: There is parking out front but if that is full, there is a whole other lot across the street for The Frog.
