The German food was delicious. The Rouladen with German Potato Salad and Sauerkraut were amazing. It is a nice turn of pace. I normally get Fettuccine Alfredo, which is light. The ambiance is also amazing!

Being raised in a German family and household, we saw the German special for this Sunday and had to try it. I had the Rouladen and it was delicious. It was served with German potato salad and sauerkraut. It was delicious. For dessert, I had the hummingbird cake. Also very good! Look forward to coming here again soon.

Always good food and a good experience. Tonight was their first night being open on Sundays. They were doing German food tonight. It was delicious. This was my tenth time here and will definitely be back soon.

Great food, great crew. Music was way to loud for comfortable conversation.

To start the building and decor were classy but the music carried over from the bar and was more bar then resteraunt. We started with a crusty bread and tomato jam which was sweet with garlic which we enjoyed. The star of the show was a smoked rosemary Nagroni cocktail , after that we were left kinda under welmed. My wife had the gf spaghetti that was more a sweet tomato sauce and lacked any herbal or garlic accompaniment. I had the pappardelle. The noodles were house made and were excellent but the sauce was lacking missing that element that left me unexcided. Which was a bit disappointing after having such good bread and a great cocktail, left us underwhelmed. Now there are other items to explore on the menu which I'll return and try such as the filled which I seen on another table that looked delicious as for a pasta option though I'd have to take a longer look after our experience. This restaurant has a lot of potential and I would not deter any one from trying it.

When you drive through southern Indiana, you will be lulled into a stupor by the boring scenery. Then you find yourself in Terre Haute before heading into southern Illinois and more boring scenery, Thank goodness for Bar Bosco!

Bar Bosco is tucked into a vintage building in a Terre Haute neighborhood. On first walking in, the noise level formed my first impression--and it was not a good impression. The bar area was highly attractive, but the noise level was horrendous! It was so loud that the hostess had to shout at us to be heard, and that is never welcomed. Fortunately, we were led to an attractive room at the back of the restaurant that was significantly quieter.

While we enjoyed the serenity of the room, we ordered cocktails. My husband ordered the smoky Old Fashioned and declared it the best he has ever had--and he has had quite a few. I ordered the pomegranate limoncello martini. The first sip was sweet; then other flavors came into focus. It was delicious and nuanced!

We shared a Caesar Salad and a Margherita pizza. The salad was a true Caesar with an apparent anchovy flavor. The pizza was tasty, but with a disappointing soggy crust. For dessert, I ordered--at our waiter's suggestion--the limoncello cheesecake, and I was not disappointed! It was amazing!

Our waiter was around when we needed him, and gone when we didn't. He was helpful with suggestions, but he did not try to up-sell us.

If we ever find ourselves in Terre Haute again, a visit to Bar Bosco will be on our agenda.

Very good food with a very nice atmosphere. Drinks and food are on the pricey side but the quality is great and it's a very elegant place to go on a date night.

The place was ok, server was very tentative. Cost is a little over rated on food and drinks. It's pretty dark inside making it hard to read the menus.

We had to try the pear ravioli as an appetizer. So glad we did. It was a wonderful balance of mild sweet and salty from the cheese sauce! Two of us had the spaghetti bosco. No regrets! It was delicious! The service was fantastic! If you’re having a business meeting you might request a quieter table. I look forward to going back and trying something else.

We love having Bar Bosco as a semi-local place. The closest thing to eating real Italian food without being in Italy. Nice atmosphere (for my personal preference the music could be a softer genre & slightly quieter). We love the tomato jam that comes with the bread service. Our caprese was great. My pear ravioli tonight rivaled my favorite dish I had in my 2 trips to Italy. I adore that they make their pasta in house! However....the affogatos stole the show. They have probably the best espresso I've ever had and the little meringue in with the gelato was a fantastic touch!
