Came in around 6:15 PM and the place was empty. Had two littles with us and requested two high chairs, but the staff took us to a table and left, so we hunted those down for ourselves. After a bit the waitress came and took our order - she was very nice. Food was overly greasy and chicken was kind of slimy. We usually enjoy Bob Evans, but the food was a miss this time. Once our food was brought to the table, no one rounded on us until the check came. They were cleaning floors...
My dad is 81 years old and this is his very favorite restaurant in town. I take him here every chance that I can. The food is always great the service is fantastic. I always have the 1/2 turkey meal from the 8.99 menu and it has always been absolutely the best. I can't wait to go back again.
This was the first time my daughter or I had ever eaten at a Bob Evans. The place was neat and clean. We had a waitress who was working her first time on the floor. She did an awesome job. My daughter made her order a little different than it was listed on the menu, and she got it all correct. We didn't have to ask for refills she kept us topped off and even fixed us a to-go waters. The next time we come through the area, we will definitely stop in again.
