Disappointed. It'd been 5 years since I'd been here but took hubby for birthday dinner while we were out that way on a Saturday. Our server seemed put out when he finally came to take our order. The salad bar was almost empty (and it was only an hour after opening, so odd) and I asked one of the servers if they could replenish the salad bar. I guess the bread with the sirloin steak dinner isn't the rye bread anymore on the block. I'm grateful the food turned out because I'd bragged to my husband how good it is. I'm also grateful we didn't need drink refills because we didn't see our server after he dropped our meal. Finally asked another server to bring our check and some to go boxes. This server was literally a jerk - He is stocky with a beard and just has no personality. It wasn't even busy so no clue why he chose to take whatever he's going through out on us. What I do know is, that we won't be back.

Ate here for the first time it was Friday night about 8 PM. Was absolutely blown away by the excellent service and food. One of the best New York strip steaks I've ever had. Ribs are amazing fall off the bone.

We are visiting Terre Haute for the NASCAR Youth Series race at THQMA and were looking for a local restaurant to support for dinner. Boy did we luck out! Amazing food and love the rustic atmosphere. Good, solid home cooking. This is definitely not your chain restaurant food, so much better. We went on a Friday night and got to enjoy their prime rib. Highly recommend!

The steak was cooked perfect. Didn't have to wait for a table on. Friday night when other places would have an hour wait for a table. Service was good, quick and efficient. Definitely worth it.
