Waited 45 minutes for our 14 inch pizza that cost $ 29.00 with 2 cokes. When it finally came out it was burnt to the max ????? When I told the waiter all he said was next time I'll make sure the cook doesn't burn it???What he should have done was offer to make us another pizza but he didn't offer. I didn't want to wait another 45 minutes. I said " we won't be back" terrible place. Terrible management.

I recently dined here. They claim to serve Sicilian-style pizzas. We ordered a 747 Sicilian with extra sauce, pepperoni, and green peppers, breadsticks, and a salad with cheese.
The pizza was extremely disappointing. The dough had the distinctive taste of a Sicilian style, but the pizza itself was not the traditional thickness. It was almost as if the dough hadn’t properly risen. There was also a thick, raised outer edge to the crust. By no means would I consider it a Sicilian style. The sauce fell short with its overly sweet flavor reminiscent of inexpensive jarred sauce. Additionally, there was very little pepperoni on the pizza. However, the cheese and green peppers were delicious.
The breadsticks were ok, they were a bit dense. However, the garlic sauce that came with them was the probably the best thing we had.
The salad was a mound of cheese with a few pieces of romaine, cucumber, and tomato. But the cheese was great.
Personally we would not return.

We had the Sicilian which we was told ut was a deep dish. Expecting a pizza full of toppings. We got a thick dry crust with very little sauce and the amount of toppings you would find on any other pizza. It wasn't the worst but was dry average pizza

Such a gem! The food is made fresh and the staff is kind. We came in with a larger party with children and they treated us like gold!

Ordered 2 pizzas and waited for my
Pizzas . They arrived and I was going to eat one with my wife and take the second home for my
kids.
We all hate anchovies . But both pizzas arrived with anchovies.
I explained that we didn’t order our pizzas like this. We were told that we did and they couldn’t be changed. We
had already paid . I left the pizzas there and subsequently called the former day to complain. I’m still waiting for a response.

Called ahead to order for dine-in. The dining area was pretty full as it was after an ISU basketball game. Ordered two sets of bread sticks and a 747 with half pepperoni and half American Special. As expected the bread sticks and pizza were outstanding. The five of us walked away full and happy with no leftovers. Maurizio's is consistently the best pizza that you can get in Terre Haute!
