The staff is super friendly and the food is hot. You can definitely tell its homemade. The ladies in management have definitely turned this place around compared to what it was a couple years ago. Will come back with friends and family on a regular bases.

I just enjoyed my lunch at MCL Cafeteria the fried.chicken, potatoes,green beans and brussel sprouts were delicious and very filling, the atmosphere is always pleasant, the room/tables are always clean and the service is top notch, you ladies are always very nice and courteous, I always enjoy eating there

We hadn't been to MCL in about a year. I was hungry for fried chicken and I've always said that MCL has the best fried chicken around. We were both disappointed this visit. My husband's meal consisted of Swiss steak (good), macaroni salad (too much dressing, not enough macaroni) and roll (very good). I had a fried chicken breast OK, but not as good as usual), mashed potatoes (too runny instant potatoes just barely warm) with brown gravy (OK), and green beans (not warm at all). We were both disappointed that there was no cole slaw. Hopefully this was just an off day for MCL and not the way things are going to be. Also noticed that the Sunday after church crowd was pretty much absent.

Luke warm chicken, actually all the all the food was barely warm. The best part was the server, very nice. Wont be going back. I hope I dont get sick on my vacation.

Stopped in here on 8-2-25 and had a terrible lunch. Food was cold and very bland I had salmon broccoli and cabbage none of it was even warm. Wife had chicken mac&cheese and potatoes and again not very warm or very tasty. They did have good jello until I noticed a hair in the bottom of the bowl. Overall not impressed at all over priced cold bland food. Will definitely never be back. Save yourself the time and just eat a bologna sandwich it'll be better.

I remember going to MCL with my grandparents when I was younger. The food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly and super sweet.

Some of the staff have watched my children grow up and know us as soon as we walk in the door. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is hot and tasty and i recommend the custard for dessert! We love eating at MCL.

I enjoyed the chicken and noodles special yesterday with buttery mashed potatoes and homestyle green beans and a fluffy hot dinner roll. One of the only places you can get Harvard and Amish beets. Always makes me think of The Office. I doubt their beets come from Schrute Farms but MCL's food is good home-cooked style that brings you back to simpler times when real ingredients and real cooking was the way it's done. Also has a calm atmosphere as opposed to a fast-paced fast food restaurant. It's a nice place to refresh with an iced tea. Very convenient that you can have a great, home-cooked style meal without worrying about the cleanup.

Great food, like made from scratch home cookin’!! Great atmosphere and environment, everyone really makes you feel at home. Great staff and wonderful place to take large groups for outings and assure everyone has a large selection of fresh items to choose from the hot bar as well as breads and desserts!

The food is always on point. Definitely great for comfort food. Awesome desserts. The staff is very nice. If you want home cooked and don't want to cook definitely come here
