While the casino is great, this restaurant is a huge disappointment. The lunch menu is extremely limited. The fish sandwich featured rubbery cod, mediocre fries, and inedible cole slaw. The pulled pork nachos were cold, and the presentation was terrible. Long, greasy strands of pork, barely drizzled with barbecue sauce, and shredded cheese that came pre-shredded--meaning it was coated in potato starch, which prevents it from melting well. If you're going to the casino, have a great time. But eat first!

This restaurant is in the new Terre Haute Casino and is only for adults. It is an excellent choice with a simple menu. The food was prepared excellently. I enjoyed the tuna bowl and the Tuna was excellent! The service was excellent! I recommend it highly, unfortunately because it is in the casino it is not a family restaurant.

While our waitress was very good, we asked about whether or not a salad dressing on the menu was gluten free due to having celiac disease. We were informed the chef did not believe gluten was a real food allergen. We should have left at that point, but our waitress went back and check for us. It was GF and we had a decent meal. However, it is very disappointing to hear that someone who is charge of food preparation in this day and age doesn't believe gluten is a food allergen.

We love this restaurant and have enjoyed Prime Rib, Fish, Pasta. Sandwiches and appetizers. The Pulled Pork Nacho’s are so delicious, all is good and the staff very friendly!

We had a great experience here. The wings and pizza were delish, highly recommend! We were watching other orders go to tables and they looked pretty good. We did have a reservation so there was no wait. The only negative thing is that was seating was a little close for us but other than that we will definitely visit again.

My family and I (party of 5 comprised of my mother and her sister: my sister and her husband) met at Terrue Casino and Resort for a bit of slot fun and then to have a nice dinner. Tyler was our server and he did a fantastic job pacing the meal, attentive but not over bearing. The food was ok. We started with the 2 portions of the empanadas. 4 large and well stuffed chipolte chicken each plate. The side sauce very tasty. My brother in law and I both at the pot roast sandwich. I very tasy and just the right meat cheese bread ratio. My mom got the BLT plent of crisp bacon but little short mayo...so if you like heavy mayo might think of ordering a side cup. My aunt had the cod sandwich and sister the cheddar broccoli soup with the house salad. For dessert the table each had the lemon cream blueberry cake. Large generous pieces probably shouldve gotten two to split. We all took leftovers home for tomorrow. Overall food was good, value was a little pricey but not bad for the venue and service was excellent. Will be back in the near future.

The server did not pay attention to what I said. I ordered an appetizer said I wanted it then, he brought it with the food. One of us ordered the Texan, wanted to switch the fries to tater tots since it was the same price on the menu. But then we were told it's a three dollar up charge. We questioned it how that could be since it's the same price he had no answer. I ordered the cowboy bowl and it was very dry, not impressed. The chicken empanadas are good.

The service was great. There wan't a problem with any of the food, but nothing "Wowed" me except the flourless chocolate torte. Nothing was bad, though. I definitely plan to return. The only "complaint" is the pricing. You can get the same (or at least similar) items at other local restaurants for a fraction of the price. With that said, if you have comps or dining credit, use it. (It might be your only "win".

My wife and I took my sister to Rockwood Bar and Grill to celebrate her birthday! It was great! On the reservation, I had put that we were celebrating a special birthday, and when we arrived, the hostess immediately asked who's birthday it was. Then, our waiter, when he came to the table asked as well. The food was very good, prices are reasonable, service excellent, and the atmosphere is very nice. At the end of the meal, they brought her a piece of chocolate cake with a candle on it. I would highly recommend it.

The bartender Sylvia was amazing, her espresso martinis were to die for, the manager Michelle on the other hand was absolutely awful… she made it clear more than twice during my hour visit that her family came before anyone else… although i must absolutely agree that family comes first, i do not agree with management threatening their employees to close on time so that said manager can get home to bed so she can get enough sleep to wake up with her kids for school. The prime rib was subpar, the cilantro rice was disgusting, and the management was, to say it nicely, atrocious. I spent over $75 for just myself and Michelle made sure she stared at me uncomfortably at least 10 times during my visit. They close at 11 and i was out of there before 10. It was my first visit to Terre Haute Casino.. and I would not recommend Rockwood bar and grill to anyone…

Came in for lunch on a Sunday and ordered the damn good burger with cheddar cheese and fries from the menu. The burger didn't come with any condiments, so I requested some mustard to go with it. After applying the mustard to the bottom bun and placing the lettuce, tomato and onions on the bottom, I topped the burger with the 3 slices of house-made pickles and proceeded to take the first bite.

Overall, the burger seemed pretty standard for what you would expect from a burger at a traditional dine-in American restaurant. I think the pickles are what set it apart from other places, because they were really good. I think if they added a house-made sauce that elevates the pickles, that would really make it a DAMN GOOD BURGER, but it at least made it to the "slightly above average" category.

However... things took a dramatic turn when I took a bite of the fries. I wanted to shake the cook's hand because those were some of the most perfectly prepared fries I have ever eaten. The size was perfect... they weren't those thin soggy fries you get from fast food places. They had a very flavorful and crispy exterior that had a nice crunch, as well as a hot, tender center. They didn't need any seasoning or dipping sauces because they stood on their own, but I think they could easily be elevated to new heights with a garlic & rosemary aioli or something.

I was just passing through the area, but I'm glad I stopped here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hours on Google Maps were incorrect so I let them know so they could correct it.

Prices were fair but in general we expected the experience to be better. The food was average at best. Service was subpar. We're lenient due to the restaurant being fairly new but probably will not visit again anytime soon (if at all).

We now have eaten here 5 times and it's always been very good! My friend ordered the chicken fettuccine and didn't care for it but the waitress was very pleased to have it taken off her bill.
