I was excited to try Sonka for the first time. The cod sandwich was good but the coleslaw was disappointing, no carrots, no tasty. The potato cakes were small more like tators tots. My husband got a salad with lots of ingredients. It'd help if the food was served in larger dishes, it was a lot for the small plates. What we really liked were the prices, cheaper than similar places. What we didn't like is the flies that were flying around our dishes, really annoying....
Loved everything. Went 2 days ago. Our group each got different things and everything was amazing. Did do the Caprese BLT they have on special and it was perfect. Also do not pass on the fried pickles. I get those whenever I can at restaurants and Sonkas definitely were in the top 5 of all the ones I have tried
Always enjoy my visit. Good food, service, atmosphere, and is kept clean. Nice big menu and plenty of drink options. No Malibu though. People seem to have a generally good time here. I would recommend this place. 21 and over only.
