Perhaps not the prettiest restaurant in Terre Haute but this fast food authentic Mexican cuisine is the best around. Prices are very fair and certainly does not break the bank. The staff is prompt, well trained and quite quick. Love this Casita very much.

I don't know why they changed their cinnamon chips because the new ones are awful! They are thick and hard nothing like the light and flakey ones they use to have. And they should go through and clean up their restaurant instead of letting it run down.
love this place...when it first came to town it was taco tico then they sold out and it became taco casita iv'e ate there since it opened up in the early seventies acoss from gartland foundry on south third
Cashier could barely hear when taking our order. Ordered 6 crunchy and 6 soft tacos. There wasn't any cheese on them. When I inquired about it, I was given a small cup with barely enough. They actually tried to give me one cup for all 12 tacos!! The lady said they only put a pinch of cheese when everything else is more than enough. The taste of the food .... well if it wasn't for the hard taco shell, there wouldn't have been any taste!
This isn't a Mexican restaurant. They don't speak Spanish and they don't have chips and salsa....

I wish I could give zero stars, there was a roach in my food when I went to get a return the employees were very rude as well as the dining area was a mess trash everywhere it's so bad I called the health department and ope they get involved there is no excuse for how awful the restraunt looked and how poorly we were

Simply a Terre Haute institution. It is what it is, and I love it for that.
