This is local bar and restaurant. The service is going to depend on who came in to work that day and how busy the restaurant is. We were not locals but it looked like most people were. Our server was nice and apologized for being so busy. The other server was also nice. My sandwich came out 5 minutes before my wife's pizza was ready which was no biggie for us. I did go to the bar to get a second round of drinks but it was no big deal. We were there for Thursday night blues jam which far, far exceeded our expectations.

The catfish nuggets were delicious! Service is friendly and great. I enjoy the live music. ( Fridays and Saturdays, and every other Thursday). Great bar selection. They have a family dining section with menu items for everyone.

The website says you're open, but the sign on the door says CLOSED until 12/5. This is the second time this has happened to us, it WILL be the last!

Tiffany and Heather were awesome. The atmosphere was welcoming. They made us feel like we had been coming there for years. This was our 1st time. Pizza was great. Love the place and the reguralers. Live music and all. 100% recommend if your in the area.

Update: Well, the last time I reviewed the PH was 3 yrs.ago. Now I wouldn't go back there. Why? The new owners have single handedly ruined a great local lake bar and grill. You can no longer get the catfish that the "Port Hole" was famous for. Instead, it has been replaced with a catfish sandwich. No whole catfish, no shrimp, no other fish of any kind period. They still have a tenderloin , but even that is different. Their main go-to seems to be pizza. I didn't get pizza, and I love pizza. Just look at my reviews. So I got the Stromboli. I'm totally disappointed. On a scale of 10, it gets a 4 1/2, so I'm glad I didn't get the pizza. We did get the catfish nuggets, and they were the only saving grace. The icing on the cake is that their website still has the OLD MENU. We always looked at the menu online to see what we were going to get. Now you can't. It's not the real menu. It's like a bait (no pun) and switch. You show up, and it is nothing like you were led to believe. If you want beer, it's still there. Hopefully, it won't change to some cheap draft that you haven't seen or heard of before. Or even worse, claim it's a premium beer when it's not. As I said,disappointed.
