The restaurant was representative of the city it was located - not great. We went into their other location first. No AC on a hot day. We then traveled to the main location. I always judge Mexican restaurants by their chips and salsa. Would have been much better if they served a grocery store bag. Salsa and cheese dip was fair. Food was good, not great with pricing representative of today's environment.
Suffice it to say I wouldn't go back to the city or Chavas!

Everything was excellent!The service was fast and friendly.The chips were thin fresh and warm.The salsa tasted great.My beef taco was crunchy not greasy and flavorful.My chicken burrito was also amazing.

Service was slow and rude, I didn’t really care for the food much. It as okay but pretty bland in general compared to other Mexican restaurants around Vincennes. Would highly recommend walking across the street to La Fiesta though!

Very clean, absolutely amazing margaritas, friendly and quick customer service, the food was excellent and came quickly! We went at 2pm and there was no wait & was absolutely perfect
