Get there early because they always sell out. Pre-order on Thursday for Fritter Fridays! Their apple fritters are ginormous and so tasty. My favorite is the custard filled. I've never had a bad experience, and supporting local is always best. ???
We’re from out of town and had never had Fossmeyers. We ordered a variety of donuts to be part of our wedding dessert table. Ordered a couple of weeks ahead and picked up day of wedding. They were fresh and tasted fantastic! Highly recommend!
We Love the taste and texture of the frosting and the cream in and on these Longjohns, but the dough is not “yeasty” and “tender”. It’s firmer than the doughnuts of yesteryear were. “Yeast” renders donuts extremely soft and tasty as were the donuts of my youth. Yeasty donuts would literally collapse whenever you’d bite into them! I’m sure Yeast Doughnuts are more time con-suming and that’s probably why they’re (as scarce as hens’ teeth) these days… but,...
