Old Chicago Pizza And Taproom

March 27th-Food was great flavor and texture. Shalynn our waitress was top tier, Bringing drinks back to our table before our old drinks were finished. New management has really brought this place back.

March 28th-The next day we order to go. We were 5 minutes late waiting on our order and we still sat there and waited another 20 minutes 😂 not a big deal, just shows where they still lack in some critical areas of service. The chicken sandwich was bomb. And the host was really sweet. But the lack of professionalism in the brownie we ordered was horrible. They brought it to us cold because they said they didn’t have enough room in the heater rack. We asked for it with no drizzle of the chocolate and they just left the ice cream off. So they were gonna expect us to just pay for a cold brownie that I could’ve bought a pack of comic brownies from Walmart for less and they would be less stale. Really gave this place a chance and then the next day they let me down. It seems like management has to babysit the kitchen the whole time just to get orders realistic. Is this a management problem or a societal problem, I don’t even know anymore.

Overall the waitress the day before was great though.

So overall they can kill it with the flavor of the food sometimes, but they seem to genuinely not care about their services going out to customers with natural societal expectations.

I’d keep going back, you just gotta really pay attention to your food and apparently have really open communication everytime you go there about what you should NATURALLY expect when you order. Warm food, no excessive delays, and consistency. That’s all we ask guys.

We paid over $50 for a pizza and 2 appetizers. They mess up the order which made the pizza cold then they dropped the entire order on the floor which we didn't see till we got home with all our sauces smashed and the cold pizza all smashed .

Man I hate to write a less then stellar review but I have to tell my experience as honestly as I can. I had the three course dinner, which was a salad, personal pizza and dessert. Salad was ok nothing note worthy. Pizza was awesome, it's the only thing worth coming back for. The dessert was a cookie, but it had no flavor to the point I couldn't tell you what flavor it was. As for the service, waiter was nice enough. At some point my ticket was lost so after I finished my salad it was more than 20 minutes to get small pizza(I was there before the dinner rush). My advice for the restaurant as a whole is to cut out salads and dessert, focus more on beer and pizza

Horrible experience! Had our salads and then waited almost 30 minutes for our mains. I had to stop the manager and ask, who just laughed and said our order got overlooked and walked off. Didn't offer to comp drinks, give a discount, etc. I watched as our server stood and played on his phone as we waited for our desserts. If you want dinner in less that 2hrs, don't come here.

The atmosphere is great and the service is ok. Are waiter was very friendly but she took forever to get our drinks. We had gotten pretzels and bufflo wings. The preztal and wings were delicious. My group has gotten the farmers' daughter and sausage pizza. The farmers' daughter pizza was except the chicken was very cheap and hard. Th pesto tasted off. The sausages tasted good except the sauce was like tangy.

food looks so good on the menu but not nothing like that in the restaurant my wife and I both got cold food dirty appetizer plates very poor service from kyle and the entire staff wasn't helpful never go there again waited over 45 minutes for cold food!!!

I will never return or order from here again. After two They sent me the wrong wings, two burnt crispy burgers, wrong drink, and no condiments and when I asked them to correct it I was met with an angry manager and an ever rude bar tender that threw my drink away from across the room spilling it everywhere because they made it wrong the first time. I asked them to remake the drink because by the time I got it and took it back it was watered down. The $4 drink was trash. Apparently that caused an uproar. I would not recommend going here if you want the correct food without hatefulness.

The food is good and the environment is great but the service here is awful. They don’t have a hostess at the front constantly so customers are left waiting for long periods of time. Food takes forever to come out too even though it’s never busy in the late evenings. It is very unprofessional. Sometimes the waitresses are rude. Not recommended. :(

We ordered appetizers, soups, salads, and pizzas… received the wrong items got our desserts first before our other food (including ice cream.) pizzas we’re not cooked all the way through (doughy) and were incorrect. Had to chase down staff to get refills. We were there for over 2 hrs. Never offered any kind of apology or % off. Never again.

Went with 8 people. Waitress rude and brought only one persons food out 30 minutes before any other. It’s been almost an hour and am still waiting

Service at this location is ridiculously bad absolutely horrible cold food and managed really really badly now this is my opinion if you feel like waiting over an hour to be served this is your place

The one in Evansville use to be my favorite so on a special occasion I’ll go to Vincennes. Every time I go it keeps getting worse and worse. We had a couple of appetizers and ordered a pizza. The pretzels were good but the nachos should have never been taken out looking like this!! They are completely burnt! The pizza was just ok. It use to be my favorite pizza place…..Don’t recommend this location!
