In town on business trip and hotel breakfast wasn't going to cut it. Found this little spot and had to go. Fresh everything from sausage patties to warm and fluffy pancakes. Great small town atmosphere with locals chatting amongst themselves and the waitress stopping at tables to join in. Food was quick, service was great and coffee was hot and fresh.. If I am ever in Vincennes again will definitely be on my to-do list.

It was a small hometown dinner with a vibe of “everyone is welcome, hun!” The food was typical diner fare—nothing fancy, and it was southern Midwest. It's a cute neighborhood and a short walk from our Airbnb, which rocked. The staff was super attentive, and the owners were on-site. We were in town for a funeral, and this was an excellent way to start a tough day. We’ll be back.

What a gem! Love the Olde Thyme Diner. There is no better spot in Vincennes for a quality, taste-like-home-cooked meal. The Haddix family that owns the Olde Thyme Diner are just as sweet as the fresh baked pies and milkshakes.

There are better options in town. Small pancakes. Tourist spot.Rather than giving you a check, they hold it at the counter. They don't give you a printed bill, they just tell you the amount. When you ask for the bill, they show you the hand scribbled order the waitress took. The help there is always freaking out, like they never worked at a busy restaurant before.To owner - yes, feel free to use my review as a t-shirt. "Don't ask for your bill, we'll just tell you what it is." Or how about, "We have an excuse for everything!". Or how about "We only get full once every 75 years." Or how about "We freak-out if it is busy! That is who we are and we are proud of it!"..."We are the victims! Don't come here if it is busy! That is what my therapist said!"But I think you may agree this is the best T-shirt option: on the front have two images of your short stack pancakes with a dollop of butter on top of each, and underneath have the words "Our short stacks are the best!".Another idea for ya - use the new T-shirts during the new wet T-shirt contest! Then you'll fill all the tables every week! Then you'll get experience on how to handle a full room without all the drama.

A great local community treasure in Vincennes. Comfortable. Friendly staff. Must be good from the number of local patrons I saw come in for lunch. Menu is simple, straight forward and reasonable. Good is tasty. Highly recommend.
