Husband and I both ordered eggs and bacon. My eggs were definitely hard (ordered over medium- not the end of the world) and we each only got 2 pieces of bacon. And one piece of toast. Never heard of a restaurant only giving one piece. Hashbrowns weren't included, so we each ordered a side of potatoes. Honestly, I would say the side order was roughly 1/2 cup. Food was good, but by no stretch of the imagination, plentiful.
WD's has great food and amazing service. It was one of the first places my family ate when we moved to Vincennes (2019) and one of the only places we go for breakfast. Their lunch is really good, including a tenderloin that is big enough for 2...maybe 3 meals. If you are in town for the day or have been around for years, WD's is a must to stop and eat. WD's is an amazing place that offers real home-cooked meals. My family and I went for breakfast, we absolutely loved their pancakes bacon and eggs. I had their biscuits and gravey the biscuits were made from scratch, the herbs they used in the grave complemented it quite well. I would recommend this place for others in the future. The only issue is they are only open for a few hours, but it is totally worth taking time to enjoy this friendly diner.
