Well.thougjt we would give the new owners a shot. 2 other tables in there w us didnt get drinks for about 20 mins. Then got our pizza which was burnt on the bottom and no flavor and then our appetizer came way after. Server never even checked on us even after being the only people in there. Definitely miss the old owners that for sure the pizza was absolutely delicious but not anymore. Definitely dnt recommend eating there!!!!

Should have listened to the other reviews. This is nothing more than a frozen pizza. Please change the name because this isn’t the cooks pizza I knew. Place you to be bustling on a Friday night. Now as I sit here we are the only ones in here. Now I know why no one is here

Cooks Pizza used to be the best pizza in town, but lately they have changed the ingredients they use on their pizzas (maybe because of the new ownership) and it just doesn't taste the same. RIP 😞

Me and a friend split the sample platter and the fried mushrooms were frozen solid

This past Saturday, during the maple syrup festival, we decided to have dinner at Cook's pizza.
Who has ever purchased chicken strips and had to pay extra for the dipping sauce?
I was surprised when I asked for ranch and the waitress replied it would be $1.25.
The amount was about a tablespoon worth in a pre packaged plastic container.
When I asked for more for my grandson, the girl took the container, consulted another girl and replied it would be another $1.25.
I passed on handing any more money over to this establishment.
The burger was good, cold hard fries, mozzarella sticks were decent ( served with marinara dipping).
Why does this place charge for my grandkids favorite condiment?
I won't pay extra for ranch and we won't be going back.

Used to be amazing with the past 2 owners. The new owners have really missed the bar on the pizza. The crust is terrible and then sauce needs more flavor. The onion rings have way too much breading. Really disappointing.

Overall: The pizza was OK.
Cons: The crust was not firm but tasted burnt. There were huge bubbles all over the pizza. There was definitely not enough sauce anywhere on the pizza.
Pros: The sausage crumbled up all over was perfect. The diced vegetables were also perfect. It’s nice to get everything you ordered all in one bite. However, more sauce and more cheese and work on the crust would make it the perfect pie.

Delish pizza can’t wait to have it again

Was very disappointed. Stopped by Saturday after a basketball tourney. Friends had highly recommended their pizza. The pizza did not live up to the hype. It was cold in the building. I also listened to other customers complaining about how cold it was to the waitress who was like oh well. Definitely not returning.

Nice small town pizza place with great pizza Serving burgers, salad, and ice cream too.

They do take credit cards now!

And they have added gluten free pizza.

Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free pizza

Was far better with the old owners. Now prices have gone up and the quality of the food has taken a turn for the worse. I don’t know if it’s the actual food or the horrible cook they have in the back. But I do know they have lost a long time customer. Such a shame. Small town traditions that mean a lot to alot of people and it’s been ruined.

Called to order a pizza. When they answered the phone it was with, "hello". I had no idea if it was Cook's Pizza, so I asked. "Yeah, it's Cook's, I guess I have should have said that", she said. I commented, "yes, you should have." When I picked up the pizza the young man rang it up and said it would be "23 bucks.". I gave him $25. He pulled a dollar bill out, and started getting some coins. I asked if he was short on ones ... he said no. I said, "then I'd rather have 2 ones instead of a bunch of change. He looked at me and said, "but it was $23.11". "No, you told me 23 bucks." (he didn't say twenty three dollars either time, it was "bucks") I couldn't understand what he told me after that, something about just telling me 23 bucks but it was more than that. Obviously they had not been trained properly ... I paid, left and went home. When we opened the pizza box, it looked like a pizza we had bought frozen at the grocery store, vegetables on the pizza were barely cooked, lots of white cheese, no flavor. I am sorry but I really feel the owners need to know these things if they want to continue to stay in business. It was the second time we've tried the pizza since the change in owenership - I am so sorry to say, we probably will not go back.

I live in Wakarusa. I felt like Cook’s was really getting bad the few years before its original owners sold and retired, so I was excited to see what the new owners would do with this restaurant. Especially since it was basically the only restaurant this town has consistently had ever. I grew up on it! Unfortunately the pizza was all cheese! There was barely any of the unflavorful sauce. All I could taste was crust and cheese. And the crust doesn’t even taste the same. I ordered mozzarella sticks which I never received, along with marinara I never received. I ordered fried mushrooms, which I received, but not the ranch that I asked for and was told “oh absolutely, no problem.” But I paid for it all. This was the third time I’ve given it a shot since the new owners reopened. Always in hopes they’d figure it out and make it like it used to be. But once again I was severely disappointed. I think it’s time to close!
