Full disclosure - because I’ve enjoyed Nelson’s about as long as they’ve been around, the rating I’m about to give might be slightly slanted.

A bit of history. In the fall of 2024, I was creating the foundation for a family reunion which was planned for August 2025. My cousin chose to take on the meat portion for what was going to be roughly 50 people at early guess.

Between the two of us, we narrowed our choice and made some calls. The individuals there at Nelson’s , with their experience and service mentality, made our options very clear, very quickly.

The date came, the food was delivered, hot and on time. Very professional. I can’t tell the future, but at the next reunion, they will be our first (and perhaps only) choice.

Best chicken ever. Got some at a fundraiser. Then I wish I had gotten more. Next fundraiser I doubled my order to freeze. It is a half chicken. They need to change that on the poster as it says whole chicken.

Nelson’s catered a week of a camping rally in Goshen. They had to feed 600+ people breakfast and dinner. The food was VERY good. The staff were friendly, efficient and polite. Occasionally, during the evening meal, a dish “ran out” before the last set if tables were served. However, no one went hungry. Thank YOU Nelson’s for feeding us for a week. We truly appreciate it.

We enjoyed Nelson's food at the FROG rally. Very good food for 700 people. It was just about the only bright spot the entire week.

Nelson's chicken is amazing. I ordered by phone and it was very easy. Pick-up went smoothly. The chicken stayed HOT in the Styrofoam container it was packed in. This was our 2nd purchase this way and we will definitely do it again!

Absolutely thrilled with Nelson’s Catering! They provided the food for our son’s graduation party, and everything was exceptional from start to finish. We served burgers, brats, potatoes, mac and cheese, and baked beans – and not a single bite disappointed. The quality of the food was outstanding: juicy, flavorful burgers and brats, perfectly seasoned potatoes, creamy mac and cheese and rich, hearty baked beans that had everyone going back for seconds. Equally impressive was the presentation and packaging. We did pick up, and it was in high-quality insulated containers that kept the food piping hot for hours – a huge plus for a busy event. The setup was effortless with these, and it allowed us to focus on celebrating instead of worrying about the food. Nelson’s Catering helped make our celebration stress-free and delicious. Highly recommend them for any event – they truly exceeded our expectations!

Everything is always delicious. We cater our stores holiday dinners with Nelson's. Everything is always hot and they deliver an hour away.

Turkey was delicious. Every year we try different cooking methods just to have a bird no one eats. Not this year, everyone ate the Nelsons bird and no left overs. Will do again next year
