Our ladies lunch group likes to patronize small town, locally owned businesses and today we chose Waldron Restaurant. Today's special: Chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, choice of vegetable $7.95 - good home-cookin' at a price that can't be beat! Plus warm sugar cream pie for dessert! Also on the menu, wide variety of sandwiches, ribs, steak and shrimp, soup of the day, salads and sides. Friendly service, fair prices (how do they do it?), good food, and parking across the street.

Was working in town and decided to stop by and drag my coworler in as well. Grabbed a club sandwich and some onion rings, and they were great. Waitress was top notch, letting us know food would tale awhile but was much faster than she let on. I hope to return whenever I'm in the area.

There never open any more there hours are unreal nobody can ever order Dinner anymore. The food is great but always closed!!!!

We visited last week; March 29th, 2023. The carpet is filthy. No excuses. The french fries were not blanched prior to the finish frying which results in a "limp wet fry"! FYI, blanching fries @ 300 for about 3-5 mins pushes out the water, then refrigerate for a few hours, then finish cooking at 375 F and Voila...tasty crisp fries. The chicken fingers were "underspiced" with little to no salt and pepper or other spices. The Waldron Restaurant could be so much better with a little skills training and a clean floor....Ewwwh!

I wanted a surprise cake for my Wife on our 9 year anniversary. There is a women that works at Waldron restaurant and she made this cake. It was Beautiful. Its almost gone. If anyone living in this area is looking for cakes,go to Waldron restaurant and ask for Myra. I cant wait to try there food.
