I have not been to La Troje since before the pandemic and I have to say I am so happy to have reacquainted myself with this wonderful Mexican restaurant. We went with a party of six and ordered a variety of entrees. Everyone raved about the quality of the food. It was an outstanding experience.

I havenāt been back to this place in over two years. I come back to give it another try. Everything was burnt and tasted terrible. I showed it to the waiter and he just shrugged his shoulders. Then when I went to pay, I showed the owner the pictures of my burnt food. He said āyeah, it does look burntā but he still charged me the full price of the order. I will never return again. My friend, who was with me ordered a margarita, it was very weak, nothing but mix. In addition, the condiments on the table were outdated by over a year.š¤¢
Love this place. Best authentic Mexican food place around. Food is delicious, the team is great. But last few times I went there they been remodeling as customers are there and it creates not such a great atmosphere for conversation when you hear drilling and pounding though your whole meal.

Haha okay so. I loved this place as of a month ago. But I went here 3 days ago and they not only got my order wrong, we asked the waiter for several things and had to go find him, he was talking to his coworkers, but there was a kid playing in the container they use for ice for people's drinks, and the scooper for the ice was laying on the floor. Not a clean place, will not be going back.
