I had the Gorditas, chicken and tongue. They were both really good. I've never tried salvadorian cuisine before, I recommend trying it. It's similar to Mexican food, just different spices and some unique dishes.
It's a small place, I would recommend there carry out or pickup ordering.
I would recommend, and will be eating here again.
Moving here 17 years ago from San Francisco, finding aplace that has pupusas wa not easy! But in Washington, Indiana of all places. Small place, very, very nice staff. Pupusas were as good as any I've had anywhere. It was 92 degrees and the power went out on that side of town, but that just added to our adventure! Prices are RIDICULOUSLY LOW! 2 people, 8 pupusas, 2 drinks = $19! Definitely on our "places to go" lst!
The building is tiny, but that is seriously some of the best food my husband and I have had. He got a glass of horchata for the first time and I probably drank half of it myself. I couldn't get enough. He ordered a burri-changa and it was packed with steak & veggies. I don't know what seasoning they used on the chicken I got, but I'm in love. The hostess/waitress was super sweet as well. We came to town for business, but I'll make a detour the next time...
