The food was the best local Mexican in a smaller city in years. Great job! The server at my table was outstanding so I tipped generously. I will be back soon for a second lunch.

I am from Chicago, and stopped to eat here to try it out. I thought food was yummy, and the service was great. Place is clean, friendly staff, and good food. Next time I visit Indiana I will sure be back to “El Mazatlan” My husband ordered the street tacos that he enjoyed, and he said were very delicious 😋 I ordered from the vegetarian section- quesadilla with mushrooms and pineapple

Taco Tuesday is great!! Service tapers off once you're served your meals. Requests for more chips & undelivered ordered condiments were ignored. Was wanting to order after dinner drinks, but our empty glasses were ignored for 30 minutes. The thing is, it's wasn't that crowded. Half the tables & booths were unoccupied.

Call in order, told 15 minutes. Took 45 minutes and servers just run around not knowing what to do and just stare at you instead of help. Finally get the food and it's ice cold. Dumbest waitstaff in town.

Bad first time experience. My family and I went there about 9pm. Maybe it would have been different if we went earlier. I don't know. We got our food and the workers started vacuuming the floor. Who wants loud noise and dust flying around when you're trying to enjoy a meal. Second my kids food was served on a chipped and broken plate in multiple places. Third the tortillas that we got with our food were hard on one end because they were uncovered inside maybe a warmer. However one end was hard when we got them. I heard some good things about this place but our first experience with my family was not a good one. I don't think I want to go back.
