I've heard others complain about the service here, but personally, I've never had an issue. The servers are normally quick and friendly. At times, there are language barriers, but it's a Mexican restaurant. The food is always good and the prices are fair. I come here at least once a month. I work at Emerald Place and we use El Mazatlan for our staff celebrations with carryout at least 3 times a year. They are always kind, fast and use fresh ingredients. Whether it is nachos for 5 or tacos for 25 they have always nailed it! I would highly recommend El Mazatlan for a large carryout at reasonable prices.
My favorite Mexican restaurant in Washington and the surrounding area. The food is outstanding, they have good daily specials and authentic Mexican memorabilia you can purchase. If you like queso. Try their spinach queso dip.My only complaint is one of their waitresses when we went was worried more with conversing with other workers(possibly family) than attending our table when needed.
